The dozen were named by the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) as those intentionally peddling the most viral false information about vaccines and COVID-19 online, in a study released in March 2021 and later cited by the Joe Biden administration. The CCDH urged social media companies to shut down accounts linked to the 12 but, despite several being removed, a majority are still active. As of July 25, accounts linked to the dozen still had a combined 520,000 followers on Instagram, 830,000 on Twitter and 4....

It will operate under the Libra Association, a non-profit organisation which will oversee its development. Rosberg clinched the top spot when he drove his Mercedes round the picturesque city-centre circuit in a blisteringly fast one minute, 42.584 seconds, reports Efe. Vettel was on course for victory in Montreal on Sunday but was handed a time penalty for an unsafe re-entry to the track after running wide under pressure from eventual winner Lewis Hamilton with 22 laps remaining, the two rivals almost colliding with each other and the wall. It meant the German had to settle for second place despite being the first man across the line, and he was furious after the race, while Leclerc finished third....

The Monégasque driver put it all together when it mattered most on his final flying lap to take top spot by three-tenths of a second ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Leclerc’s Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz rounded out the top three positions, though both the Spaniard and Verstappen have grid penalties to take for Sunday’s race. Elsewhere, Sergio Perez took P4 ahead of Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton and George Russell who in turn beat out McLaren duo Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo who finished P7 and P8 respectively....

This basically meant that while Sunday was about the glorious spectacle of the season-finale being held at the spectacular Yas Marina, the very next day, the bandwagon of speed and its keepers got busy in readying themselves for the post-season Pirelli tyre-testing. Monday and Tuesday were all about the drivers trying to get different tyre compounds to work on their car set-ups. While for the likes of Sebastian Vettel, it was like getting used to the existing car- the one used for the 2018 season- SF 70H, for most others, such as Kimi Raikkonen, it was about trying out the C37 Sauber, a first for the Iceman....

Facebook Launches New Admin Tools to Moderate Groups In a blog post, Facebook announced that it’s launching some new admin tools to make group moderation easier for admins. These new tools include a new home for admin tools and settings, an AI-powered comment moderator, and more. Facebook explained that many of the new tools are based on user feedback and have actually been requested. The social media platform also added that there are more than 70 million active admins running Facebook groups, so it’s likely that these new tools will prove to be a big benefit....

The team switched to Renault engines for the 2018 and their star driver Fernando Alonso had made a statement after the season opener in Australia that the new car should be able to match the Red Bull in terms of performance as the season progresses but it was disappointment for both the team and the driver as that failed to happen with 9 races completed in this season so far....

Silverstone is the fourth circuit to get a new DRS zone this year after Australia’s Albert Park, Canada’s Gilles Villeneuve and Austria’s Red Bull Ring. It will be added from the start-finish straight and will end at the Abbey Farm sequence. When asked about it by Autosport, Vettel said, “It’s a bit tricky. I don’t know if we can do it with DRS open or not. We have to try, with the asphalt, tyres and so on....

The Dutch star managed to hold off Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz as the Spaniard pushed for his maiden F1 victory up until the very last lap. A late safety car set up a thrilling duel between the pair over the final 15 laps. For the second time this season, Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez was forced to retire from the race due to engine problems, while Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton grabbed his second podium this campaign in third....
